only time that probably comes close is 2007 after girardi ran the arms into the ground in 2006. I remember JJ, Anibal Sanchez, Nolasco, all missing time and sweaty scott olsen and Dontrelle having really bad years.

Anyone paying attention to the draft at all? It sounds like the Marlins are tied to college hitters, which makes a lot of sense, obviously. I like guys like Christian Moore (looking less likely he'll be there), Cam Smith, Seaver King, Carson Benge, Vance Honeycutt, and Ryan Waldschmidt. I might lean toward the guys with more power potential because the Marlins are so lacking in that area, but I'll be happy with the best hitter they can get. While it looks like the pitchers they got last year are good, I'd be pretty bummed if they went that direction again. I also wouldn't hate a prep middle infielder, but it would just be more guys far away from the big club making the next couple of years miserable.
