i mean, the OPS for his career that you are relying on is a small sample in and of itself. Less than 100 at bats each of the last 2 years, and 96 at bats with decent numbers against lefties this year. Id trust him over a rookie whose entire career is a small sample with a .410 BABIP but whatever.

He's really bad. These teams know what their guys can do. Maybe he plays against a Mark Redman lefty, but not the hardest throwing lefty in baseball.

this lineup is why i wanted to play the brewers. this phillies top of the rotation is just as good as the brewers and their lineup is just full of not only great but professional and experienced hitters. you can tell by the at bats which team is playing in mostly it's first playoff game. we desperately need some runs here.

id assume that's it for luzardo. at the very most he's out the second a guy gets on next inning.

It just sucks for Luzardo as that Castellenos double was a BS blooper and another was infield in with the runner on third. They aren't really blasting him. He looks pretty solid. Hopefully they can get 1 more inning out of him and Puk, Nardi, Robertson, and Scott can close out the game. Assuming they can get anyone on base let alone score.

Yea, and the pitch count is so low he could do the whole game and that lets them rip the bullpen next 2 games which stinks

he's going to throw a complete game shutout and barely exceed 100 pitches. just awful, noncompetitive at bats all night.
