If Edwards didn’t do what he did, he would’ve been out by force. Now did he do what he did on purpose? Probably not, if it was on purpose, he probably wouldn’t have slid at all.

The Mets fucked up. Edwards was running full steam to just get there and hope for the best. Could have been better and smoother, but the bottom line is we’re in a fucking playoff game essentially and this guy in dlc who hasn’t done jack fucking shit all year loafed home and cost us a run and hopefully doesn’t cost us a playoff spot because of it

Edwards fucking booked it to 2nd and did a really late slide that allowed him to beat the throw, but it was so late he slid by the bag. If he does a regular slide I think the throw beats him.
