cueto needs to start coming out of the bullpen in september. If we are going to get a guy to eat some innings, let it be him every few days in non-competitve games when Cabrera comes back. All year, whether it is spring training, minor leagues, or the majors, the guy just cannot keep the ball in the ballpark. he cannot continue to keep pitching big games. He has played a role, but it's time to win games. Give cabrera one more minor league start and bring him up.

There’s really no reason to have Garcia on the team anymore. The same could be said about Stallings, but at least there they have the excuse that they don’t have any decent catching in the system.

there is a difference between losing games and your manager behaving in a manner as if hes actively betting on the other team. It's been the same thing the entire second half. Whether it was the Weathers game, the game where he took sandy out when he was cruising, and then last night leaving cueto in and then letting Garcia and Wendle hit with the game on the line when you have Gurriel and Berti on the bench. His moves have made 0 sense for weeks now. It's like he was dropped off from another planet and has no knowledge of anyone's abilities. It makes 0 sense. His bullpen management has been horrific, and his continued insistence on using wendle against righties as if wendle is remotely competent against either righties or lefties. Again, it's as if he has not watched the team all year. I have no idea what has happened to skip.
