None of his peripherals are any different than his numbers over the last 7 years of quality productivity. His BB% this year is higher than his career numbers. His K rate is pretty much where it's been most of his career. His career exit velocity is 87.8 and this year it's 87.9. his hard hit % for his career since they started tracking it is 33.7% and this year it is 37.4%. His xBA is .243 and his BA is .216. His slugging is .272, his expected slugging is .341. His WOBA is .251, his XWOBA is .287. It's pretty easily quantifiable that he has been the victim of bad luck on top of not playing well.
