No, but I think he's more prepared to handle 3rd Base than CF and he's holding his own in CF so far IMO.

Huge series win. What could've been on Friday, but that could've been a backbreaking loss on Friday and it wasn't so have to be encouraged.

Dane has been fantastic, that oppo shot was nice. Liked Tommy talking up giving a guy who is killing it in the minors a shot, and immediately talked about what Xavier Edwards is doing. Hopefully someone in the FO is listening.

It needs to be said, to end the 1st half, that Don Mattingly was just an awful manager.

Kudos to Skip Schumaker for helping turn this around so far.

A .500 2nd half = 88 win season. That’s probably good enough to make the playoffs.

I never said it would kill team morale, I said it was an awful message to send to the clubhouse, which it was. Same with continuing to throw hampson out there when Edwards deserves a chance up here

If Edwards is up though he needs to be playing a lot more than Hampson. Hampson is fine as the last guy off the bench, Edwards should be more than that.

Segura has reached base in every game since he has come back. He’s increased his ops for .493 too .546 during that time. I think he is regressing to his mean and is going to have a big second half

We drafted a high school pitcher with our first pick. draft is a crapshoot but that’s weird. Last thing I would have predicted out of the 4 outcomes

Mish on twitter says a lot can happen between now and the deadline but his sense is that they want to acquire a strong starting pitcher. Id guess that’s not the only thing they would do.

also says cueto won’t pitch in any close games until he shows something. Agrees with me that it sends the wrong message to the team. If they don’t trust a guy to pitch, why not just cut bait?
