X Edwards and Dane Myers should be starting for the Marlins right now. They are both red hot, so take advantage of it. How about Edwards, Myers and Arraez at the top of the order? Soler fourth, and Chisholm fifth.

De La Cruz has a 102 OPS, league average. Couple that with poor defense and you have a below average player hitting third for you every day. Not a recipe for success.

In the last two days the angels have recognized a window and added moustakas and Eduardo Escobar. If Kim wanted to make a move she absolutely can. No need to wait till the deadline

Not those guys in particular but when the alternatives are awful, average is an improvement. They need to improve on stallings, hampson, Davis, maybe Cooper, and the righty set up role so they can move Floro to a middle relief role and send the Archie Bradley spot in the bullpen down. Jazz will take care of Davis or hampson, Edwards will eventually take care of the other hopefully, so they really need to focus on finding one big bat at either 3b, ss, or 1b and then get a backup catcher and a righty reliever.

star power matters, but depth on a roster also matters a ton. They need to rid this roster of the Davis, hampson, Bradley/brazoban, and stallings spots if they aren’t going to acquire a star level bat
