Can we get Cabrera to just follow Sandy around 24 hours a day and do everything that he does, and Sandy give him all the secrets to being a workhorse? Cabrera has everything physically to be a Sandy clone, if he can just stay on the field. Gotta find a way to keep him healthy.

jj bleday has been somewhat encouraging early. the power is clearly there and I think there is a comfortable floor for him moving forward. It's pretty remarkable how a guy simply being capable of hitting extra base hits seems like such a drastic change. we need power, enough of the slap hitters like rojas, wendle, and what aguilar has become. you're not gonna win in today's game with slap hitters and relying on small ball with how much guys strike out today. They need 2 more legit power hitters at least.
Burdick is probably gonna start next year in AAA for a month or 2 to see if they can get the k's down just a little. if they do he's an MLB player. Him and Sanchez in a platoon in a corner outfield spot with bleday in CF and whoever they choose to go out and get to fill the last outfield spot has a chance to be something, but they need more star power offensively. Signing correa would go a huge way. Rojas needs to be a bench player. it's sad he's still starting at such a key position 5 years into a rebuild.Comment
