Putrid BA stats for Garcia and Soler are far too kind, actually. The two are batting .130 and .150 with runners in scoring position. Sad story sadder, Garcia and Soler are paid as much as the rest of the starting lineup put together. They are also paid nearly double the salaries of the entire pitching staff, both starters and relievers. Due to their salary commitments alone, they will continue to play and defile the middle of the lineup. (Wow, I'm not used to being mean with commentary, but this really sucks.)

Yeah I saw that my question is why Dunand and not Charles Leblanc? My only thought is that Dunand was already on the 40-man and Leblanc was not. But why the F would Dunand be on the 40-man?
