if i never had to watch isan, sierra, Dickerson, alfaro, or Leon in a marlins uniform ever again I wouldn't be upset. Way too many hitters on the roster right now who just don't bring anything. Desperately need back rojas but also especially need Anderson to get back and give us the production we expected.

mattingly's bullpen usage has been so bad and downright inexplicable for years. He either falls in love with guys who stink/shouldnt be in high leverage or he absolutely refuses to switch roles up when it is necessary.

ballgame! great fucking win. its been a complete 180 against the braves this year compared to last year. A series win is nice, but given the beginning to june for the team a sweep would be crucial towards getting us back into this thing, especially against a divisional team ahead of us in the standings.

and then we get to see how edward cabrera and jake eder pitch tonight as dessert for the major league win

rojas surprisingly starting a rehab assignment at AAA today. Assuming he comes back after 3-4 rehab games for our weekend series, he will have only missed about 2-3 weeks which is a lot less than I thought when they announced his injury. Im a little concerned that he might be good enough to play but it will impact his play the rest of the year, but at least it gets Berti or Isan out of the lineup everyday and pushes everyone down a spot so that one of the shitty bench bats goes down.

this game is huge today. a series win is nice but in a position to sweep with Pablo on the mound against Smyly who has struggled this year, a loss would really hurt. Thompson stealing a game from one of the last 2 rotation spots was big yesterday, now we need to count on Pablo to pitch well to put a real good stretch of baseball together. Braves have hit pablo well in his career so lets see what happens. I like the lineup today. Bottom of the order still sucks but I like Berti and Devers in there more than Isan at this point.

it's terrifying that acuna is only 23 and is essentially guaranteed to be doing this to us for the next 10 years for the braves. i cant remember any guy destroying us this consistently. It's to the point where id take a single from him if you gave me the option between allowing a single or having him swing away for an AB
