and now jesus with another HR today. he's 3-3 with a triple, homer, and single and 5 RBI. It's the 5th inning.

He just homered. He's 5-8 with 2 HRs and a 3B to start the season. If he could emerge that would be huge, I've almost dismissed him this year because of how bad he looked at the big leagues last year, but I think we forgot how young he still is.

Lewin Diaz just demolished another homer. Harrison having a good game too, just doubled and stole a base. I think Jacksonville has scored more runs in the first 2 games than the AA Jacksonville team did in all of 2019.

atta boy andy. was there ever any word on whether he was struggling because he was hurt or he was struggling and then happened to get hurt and is now just healthy and seeing the ball better? He didn't look right early on but it could have just been normal struggles.

i was furious at the time because luke weaver and jack flaherty were pretty much neck and neck as the top 2 cards pitching prospects so I thought that they chose sandy over those 2 was asinine but good god did they get that absolutely 100% correct. They nailed that trade aside from Sierra over arozarena. if they got him holy shit that would have been one of the best trades in franchise history.

there we go isan. say what you want about how they have been disappointments overall, which they have been, but isan has been hitting the ball incredibly hard and brinson has looked really solid as of late.

max meyer professional debut tonight. jesus, lewin, and monte good games. Osiris looks great in 2 games. Dax fulton with a shaky start in his first professional outing let alone his first start after TJ.

I missed tracking these guys in daily games so much. So great to see.

On the major league front, it looks like Campbell shared with detwiler and Bleier the last few nights. If detwiler can give us 4 innings that is all we need.

don't know how much is being open-minded as opposed to having no other choice whatsoever. I like it though. stealing games like this if we can win this game are huge over the course of a 162 game season. the number of games we can steal that we have no business winning with our injuries is huge when we look back at the end of the year.

devers clearly isnt ready and will be sent down soon, but even though the numbers don't reflect it, you can definitely see projectability towards a future role that some scouts clearly see.
