      Unfortunately, he stinks.
I wish we could move on from everybody we acquired in that Yelich trade.

      • went to the bathroom for a minute and now the inning is over so I'm gonna go ahead and assume he didn't show something.

        • Our 3-9 hitters have a BA of .188, .193, .167, .207, .318 in limited AB's, .000, and Pablo at .091. Ideally that wouldn't be happening.

          • Man that Starlin DP brought back memories.

            • huge DP. Starlin still a marlin. I think his last year here was 2019 but for some reason to me it feels like he hasn't been here in 5+ years. That spectacular run of mediocrity he had for us feels so long ago.

              • Pablo Lopez is a better hitter than Isan Diaz.

                • Can we get Pablo a run please?

                  • great outing from pablo. really hard choice letting him go out there to start another inning. i think I rest on the side of let him take the 7 scoreless and go to the next start coming off an off day with a good rested back end of the bullpen and pray we can push across a run or 2 to steal this game. Pablo has been phenomenal this year.

I would let him start the 8th, he’s at 78 pitches...

                      • he's done for the night. im ok with it even though the pitch count is low. he;'s about to get to the top of the order again and id rather that happen with a fresh arm instead of potentially having to bring in a reliever with runners on. bass has been great lately, let him start his own inning.

It’s the 8th inning so I’d guess the reliever will be Floro, not Bass.

Edit: You’re right, it’s Bass for some reason.

                          • now that pablo is done- our top 3 starters numbers on the year-

                            Pablo- 2.34 ERA, 1.10 ERA, 34.2 IP, 34 K, 10 BB
                            Sandy- 3.19 ERA, .98 WHIP, 36 IP, 36 K, 11 BB
                            Rogers- 1.29 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, 28 IP, 38 K, 10 BB

And while we are a ways off, it is entirely possible our 2 best SP's over the next 5 years haven't pitched yet this year in SIxto and Meyer. That is absolutely unbelievable SP.

bass has been really good after that first 3 outings. i wouldn't be surprised if he ends up back at closer at some point as I feel like Yimi is better utilized when not being forced into the closers role.

                              • apparently our starters finished with a 3.09 ERA in April. Elieser Hernandez through 2 innings. Sixto didn't pitch. that would have been first in the league last year, first in 2019, first in 2018, first in 2017, and second in 2016. And sixto hasn't pitched...
