the giants are nothing like us. They have absolutely 0 young talent. They are in need of a major rebuild and have a mediocre rotation and a lineup full of declining veterans. They are better than the orioles but we should be significantly better than both of those teams.

The Giants fell a game short of the playoffs last year and they’re off to a hot start. They have an analytically-savvy front office and seem to get the best out of their players. We’re not significantly better than them if we’re even better at all.

Hopefully we start playing/hitting better at home.

I see a lot of people shitting on Berti, but I like him. He has good AB's and gets on base.

I just love how Aguilar is a professional hitter. Anytime we need someone to come up with a big hit I trust him.

Get Wallach and Alfaro out of here. Is Banfield or anyone in the system really worst defensively and offensively than them?

the issue for me is not with berti, its with putting berti in the lineup at the expense of jazz. If they want to move him around the field and use his versatility to give guys off days and get him some ab's that's one thing but not at the expense of Jazz being out of the lineup or the stupid double switches we keep doing to remove jazz halfway through the game.

Yep Berti is an excellent bench player, him replacing Jazz at 2nd should not be the most common use of his abilities.

they are worried about injuries with cooper playing the OF but you cant be scared like that when running the team. If he gets injured playing every day so be it, id rather take that risk than have one of our best bats rotting on the bench behind aguilar
