alfaro is complete torture. i really hope they deal some of this OF and SP depth for a new catcher this offseason. he isnt a good player and his inability to make contact is a complete killer. he's not even close to the ball and the balls he swings at are nowhere near the strike zone.

these umpires have been so fucking bad all year with balls and strikes. just ridiculous that they are still the ones making calls when literally every single person watching the game has the ability to see what is actually a ball or a strike.

it has 0 impact. we have bad hitters as well. we consistently make bad pitchers or young pitchers like wilson who arent MLB ready look like all stars. it has nothing to do with someone factually calling a guy a bad pitcher, it has to do with our hitters always either being on fire or completely awful with terrible at bats.

phillies tie it up at 6 going into the bottom of the 6th in a 7 inning game. nats have 6 outs to get a run to win it and phillies have 3 before it heads to extra. need that phillies pen to do what theyve done all year.

So sad. Urena is so much better than Bryce Wilson and it doesn't matter because Bryce doesn't have to pitch to Braves. Wilson has little to no variety, no movement on anything, no premium velocity or command. Doesn't matter. Marlins won't take walks ... insist on swinging out of the zone. This is their third game of the past four without an earned run (whoops, Marte just scraped one over the cf fence). In every casel, Marlins have made spot starter types look like All Starsl
