Can’t score vs one of the worst teams in the league and you’re trying to have Johan Quezada pitch meaningful innings in a playoff push How in the fuck is this team currently holding a playoff spot

Let's tell it like it is. The Marlins, down 2, go with a big numbnut on the mound who has never experienced success at any level of baseball and has no real affiliation with the Marlins ... rather than their 2018 minor league pitcher of the year and wizard of the Arizona Fall League Nick Neidert. That's a game-changing decision that should never, ever have happened.

don mattingly is a truly awful manager at everything other than being a good clubhouse guy. he has horrendous lineup construction and even worse bullpen decisions. He should be a bench coach and not a manager.

also im so done with these umpires and MLB for not having already implemented an automatic strike zone. the umps are awful. idk if its just being noticed this year more but just AB changing, inning changing, and game changing awful calls all year long.

Esp true today. Plawecki was struck out a pitch before he singles in two runs.

You're completely right. Doesn't make any sense at all. Dickerson hitting 1st? Miggy hitting 7th? Cooper/Anderson hitting 5th and 6th? Our lineup is not that deep

that way they can't protect the Yankees, Dodgers & as you see the Red Sox....this was rigged from the beginning. The TV advertisers do not want the Marlins in, they'd rather have the Phillies & Mets...if they can do it, they will make sure the Marlins are squeezed out.

This was the move today that was truly annoying. Hoyt had been up earlier in the game. Why not bring him in for that inning instead? If he was facing 6-9 in that lineup, I would understand the move, but he had no business facing the top of their order which is actually really good.

Almost every major decision made by the club today was bad.

Sure would've loved to have seen Neidert get the start. Johan Quezada pitching meaningful innings for us right now is up there with the Holloway decision earlier this year, as just completely inexplicable. At least with Holloway it was the 1st series, and not in the middle of the playoff stretch.

Johan Quezada is a 26-year old minor league free agent who hadn't pitched above A-Ball, and we're going to throw him out there in a close game with 13 games to go as we're fighting to make the playoffs. Just brilliant fellas.

mattingly has done that numerous times in the last few weeks alone. he did it in the 29 run game where he just left pitchers out there to eat it for no reason. i get our schedule is unprecedented in terms of the lack of off days and double headers but we've had great SP for the last week and we havent used the bullpen much. it's just mind boggling.

Also, when in the hell did quezada join the team i had no idea he was even on the roster.

its not a conspiracy, the umpires are just incompetent and there is 0 repurcussions for being terrible. Angel hernandez has been blatantly awful for years and nothing. it's such a disgrace that within an instant everyone watching can see its a bad call but yet we're still going with the quick decision and vision of an overweight middle aged guy who's just guessing.

We have seen Mattingly seemingly throw in the towel way too early several times this season. It makes no sense.

If Chisholm starts going to the opposite field from the very first pitch each at bat, I have no doubt he can be a big time hitter. Question is will he.

Not surprised we lost the Series vs the Red Sox

We did a great job playing down to our competition.
