Great swing by Jazz last night ... the long shot to right. Exactly what he needs to be doing to emerge as a star these final weeks.

I have searched the net for info on Edward Cabrera. Last thing I found is that he is expected to be ready to start. Can't over emphasize the significance that a second Sixto would have right now ... and he was every bit as good last season.

the results havent been there for jazz but he has had good AB's and he is making decent contact from what ive seen. The numbers have been putrid for most of the young guys who have come up but you see clear talent. none of these guys were really expected to contribute this year anyway so i just view it as a positive that they will hopefully learn some things about their games and the areas to improve on in this brief season and get ready to be productive next year.

Pretty remarkable return for Isan before going down for the year. dont know which moment was the most memorable there are just so many. I'm cool with jazz playing 2nd the rest of the way with Rojas at SS.

aguilar has been a terrific steady presence in our lineup and i thought he was going to do jack shit and not make it through a full year with us. his presence has been huge. thats the type of signing that you need and it feels like we struck out on the previous 10 of those type hitters. id bring him back for next year.

The fact that Neidert isn't pitching right now has got to mean he's going tomorrow. Now would be the time to use him if you were planning on using him out of the pen.
