Not the worst fan, far from it actually but they have killed a lot of people's love for the game, and not just once, or twice or even just 3 times, but 6 or 7 times. That's reality Fish, but you can keep burying your head in the sand. I've already heard co-workers & family say, that they expect a lot of the pitching to get traded this off-season. Their PR is gonna suck until they actually commit to the future. You lash out at me because you know I'm right.

nah, you're not. youre a truly awful fan who should just stop posting here already. if they had a playoff series tomorrow the place would be sold out easily. you dont understand sports fans down here because you cant get your cynicism out of the way to figure out how fans truly operate down here.

and im happy i was wrong. if was actually about players health they should not have. they also overhauled how often they tested and how strict the protocols were within 3 days of the season starting and 17 different marlins getting covid immediately.

Could JT Realmuto be coming back to the Marlins ? Philly hasn't signed him yet....some people in a group were speculating about that today. Do you think Jeter/Sherman & JT/Agent could have any talks about this ?

It's still speculated about on other boards & groups. Most people around MLB think the Marlins will be shedding these guys within 2 to 3 years, because we just won't pay any money

the place wouldn't sellout period. 90-95% yes possible. But the economics of South Fla are very bad right now. One of the largest industries is almost 100% closed down, and it took around 50,000 jobs with it. Cruise Ship industry has been devastated by the pandemic, and will take years to fully recover. Also all the other direct or indirect impacts on the tourist industry have decimated our economy. Miami-Dade County tourist tax collecton is down over 80%. That means county & city property taxes are going up and in some caees, way up to make up for the lost tourist taxes. Less $$$ to pay for things like sports tickets. Would they get over 30,000 a game ? Probably, but selling out Marlins Park - I highly doubt it.

You & your family most likely are rich (I believe you've mentioned being in the Lawyer field before), so you don't know how real people are suffering right now, because you live in a little bubble of your fellow rich people. You aren't having to work two jobs, or worry about your wife or husband being laid off, being behind on a mortgage payment, etc. Real people have less disposable income than ever, and football tickets will always come 1st over baseball tickets, especially jacked up ticket priced playoff tickets.
