Clevinger to SD and Cleveland now might look at us for a SP. Be interested to see who they got from SD as Miami has interest in what both have

Teams are dying for SP and only like 3 teams actually have it. This also opens Cleveland up for a SP

Source: Deal is Clevinger, Greg Allen and PTBN to Padres; Quantrill, Arias, Cantillo, Hedges, Naylor and Miller to Indians.
Not really an overpay but SD paid upLast edited by tjfla; 08-31-2020, 11:30 AM.

A's acquired Mike Minor from the Rangers for 2 PTBNL. Another starter off the board.

I would anticipate 1 or 2 trades from the Marlins today. One seems all but certain.

Not only are the Marlins facing deGrom for his fourth consecutive time in the rotation, they have faced a Cy Young Award winner in 6 of their last 14 games.

Additionally, today is game 30 (half way there, folks) and the Marlins have faced 12 starting pitchers that were Cy Young Award winners or All Stars.

When will some changes come in the front office ? They've lost most every trade in the last few years.
Some will of course hate the messanger instead if hating the message.....blame me for just pointing out the truth, call me an idiot, say "I know nothing" but I don't see much this organization has done to be better....the rating for the farm system was pretty much over-rated. Gave you guys a false sense of hope, even was starting to fool me. But the reality is setting in..... they can build some decent pitching, but it's clearly obvious they can't build an offensive team especially when it comes to power.
They've become so invisible, that on morning sports shows here in Miami, they talk about high school football before they talk about the Marlins, and when they do talk about them, it's all about how they traded guys away that are doing well, and they question the motives like I have, of the front office...are they really here to win or just to have a low payroll and make a profit ? They also say if this front office hasn't made a commitment to their future why should fans make a commitment to the Marlins ?
The team was 7-1 earlier in the season and wasn't getting coverage either.

Blue Jays acquiring Robbie Ray from the D'Backs.

We’re about to get marte according to mish. Elieser makes sense for them but unless it’s a guy like devers or lower level prospects I don’t see the fit. They don’t need our veteran pitchers like Caleb or urena and villar doesn’t make sense for them either. I’d bet it’s prospects like devers or Nunez or something

Holy shit it’s Caleb for Marte
what a fucking deal if it’s straight up

Assume it isn’t straight up but still if he’s the centerpiece I’m happyOriginally posted by Madman81Most of the people in the world being dumb is not a requirement for you to be among their ranks.
