Gonna need 7 starters over the next two weeks. Doubleheaders the next two Fridays and Sundays. So just Neidert is not going to cut it. Unless they're just going to do bullpen games. Have Smith, Leibrandt, Castano piece together two games. I'd rather they go with Cabrera if at all possible.

agreed. i think neidert starts one of the first doubleheaders in philly then cabrera the other. can't sacrifice a game by throwing out smith or castano

How the heck did Dickerson win a gold glove? He's been awful in left field.

I find this an odd question for a fan of a team that features Derek Jeter as a figurehead. Jeter of course having multiple gold gloves despite being statistically one of the worst defensive players at any position during his tenure in MLB.

And I'm confused how being the fan of a team where Derek Jeter now serves in the Front Office makes that a stupid question.

HUGH win. They looked dead in the water for a bit there. Kind of feel like we stole it. Donovan Solano has a wRC+ of 146
and an OPS over .900 so I’m gonna go jump off a roof somewhere, though.

Yeah if you're Derek Jeter and a surefire first ballot hall of famer, no matter how "bad" defensively he was. Corey Dickerson is a career journeyman with one all-star appearance.

Also, if he wasn't our team president I would not have forgotten about Derek Jeter.

this week is so incredibly big for the team. biggest week of games theyve had in years. especially that ridiculous 7 or 8 game series or whatever it is against the phils. need the bats to come alive and help out the rotation

this has to be the most games 2 teams have played in a 5 game span in a very long time right? Marlins play the phillies thursday to monday including 2 doubleheaders for a total of a 7 game series.
