Mets had 2 positive tests (1 player and 1 staffer). MLB postponed tonight and the Mets game tomorrow. No mention of the Marlins game tomorrow in DC.
Hopefully our games can continue this weekend. This sucks, and hopefully the Mets guys are OK, but this might save us from having to watch Forsythe and Brinson again...

The Miami Marlins last night optioned OF Monte Harrison to ATS, and today placed INF Eddy Alvarez on Paternity List, designated C Ryan Lavarnway for assignment, recalled OF Jesús Sánchez from ATS, and reinstated LHP Richard Bleier from 10-day IL and C Jorge Alfaro from IL.

excited to see sanchez tonight. also good to have alfaro back. cervelli did a great job filling in but alfaro is better and cervelli is light years better than lavarnway. we got much better the last two days. hopefully we start getting the old guys back in droves and we can rid ourselves of this truly horrendous set of bullpen arms.

is anyone else getting a warning when trying to head to the site today that there was possible phishing on the site and that therefore it is dangerous? I didnt get it when i went to the site on my phone but it keeps happening on my computer.Comment

ive always loved elieser. he was a really quality rule 5 pick. Idk if he has a long term starting spot here but his repetoire seems like it would be great out of the pen if he can get comfortable out there. he pitched there some last year and just didnt seem like he was comfortable coming out of the pen. he reminds me of juan carlos oviedo aka the artist formerly known as leo nunez a lot.

good fucking lord these umpires have been so unbelievably terrible the entire year. enough already. why on earth in 2020 are we still calling balls and strikes with middle aged men with bear bellies? just cost sanchez a clear fucking walk. fucking ridiculous already. mlb has to be the most ass backwards sport in terms of making adjustments to chnging technology that will help the game grow

I feel like I see now why the Orioles let Villar leave for nothing. This guy has to be the dumbest player in baseball. Between swinging at every 3-0 count and getting picked off every time he reaches 1B, I would love to see him traded in about a week.Comment
