Players:Well how about we play 162 games so we can get ALL of our money instead of just playing 60 games
GREEDY as Hell!!! Owners want this season dont already like it never happened. Get done by November and have FA and 2021 ready by March. Players want to play 2020 season till March

This post isn’t going to age well.
Lets check back on this one July 30th.

Players pretty much want to play as many games as possible to get more cash while owners want everything done by Nov so they can have GM Meetings/FA and all and get to March 2021.
Just remember these are the same players who sacrificed the new guys by saying if u give us service time we are fine with a 5 Rd Draft and the ability to pay them less
Hate to say it cause most the owners are greedy as hell but seems like they wanna play games/season as long as done by November and can move on 2021 while the players are just trying to make sure that Wei Yen Chen isn't the highest paid ML player this season
Whatever they do I just hope Miami leaves all the kids down for 2020(get another year of control) and we get a Top 3 Pick

Schedule should be something like this
12 Vs Atlanta
12 Vs Philly
12 Vs NYM
12 Vs Wash
3 Vs Balt
3 Vs Tor
3 Vs Boston
3 Vs NYY
6 Vs TB
Looks like a high draft pick for usLast edited by tjfla; 06-18-2020, 07:35 AM.

Here is the latest offer from the Union.
Jeff Passan
@JeffPassan
Among the details in MLBPA’s new proposal, sources tell ESPN:
- 70-game season from July 19-Sept. 30
- $50M in playoff bonuses
- 50/50 split of new postseason TV revenues in 2021
- Forgiveness of salary advance for Tier I-III players
- Universal DH
- Mutual waiver of grievance

Sigh....looks like this will go on for a while longer...
Joel Sherman
@Joelsherman1
MLB believes that it had an agreement on Tuesday with the PA, not a floor for the union to make a counter. So while there seems a pathway to a deal, at this moment, ownership does not see that pathway. #saber-rattling

Players still don't understand that there will be no fans at games. They are asking far too much. A few days ago, they were reportedly good with prorated salaries. Now they want $50 million of playoff revenue on top of that!
Sixton Sanchez! MLB prospect list now has him at 6' and 234 lbs! That's a tad worrisome and definitely not a physique born of dedication - esp when the 6' is a bit exagerrated.Last edited by Lee Stone; 06-19-2020, 09:29 AM.

Teams training all over Florida across sports having to shut down their training due to the virus. Blue jays the latest, Phillies had a bunch, and Tampa bay lightning shut theirs down as well. We live in a moron filled state that will prevent sports from coming back and staying back for the remainder of the year
Now Clemson tooLast edited by fish16; 06-19-2020, 06:47 PM.
