Cincy was in the penalty which means they probably have alot of cash left. Gonna say MORE than that and DOUBT they trade any of those guys for IFA. The guys that might be dealt are Brayan Hernandez,Low A Ball SP,40 man guys who could be DFA(Meyer like)

Well Baltimore gave up 750K for a 24 yr old in Low A Ball and Cincy was in the Penalty so doubt they spent tons of cash.

Havent heard anything but 750K-1 million seems fair

We need to hit Cuba hard from now on. No matter if Top Prospect or lesser type. These guys are signing for 300K. Scout the Cuba 18U and 15U teams hard and when they leave sign them!!!

Its difficult because a lot of these teams have relationships with people in these countries already and its hard to get in there. The dodgers for example clearly have a leg up on attracting cuban guys.

Very true-LAD/St Louis/CWS have relationships but 2 of them can only offer 300K. Cuba guys dont care about relationships its about the $$$$. If Miami offered some kid 900K-1 million they would jump all over it

Ya I liked Lillie too but reality he was #4/5 type or more likely a power RP. Those guys are easily replaceable especially since Denbo is aggressive in moving guys up based on age. Example we traded Maybin for prospect and 250K. We didn't recieve $250,000 we just got $250,000 added to our cap space # to be able to spend more during the IFA period. This is the reason Jeff was so happy to trade it

If we got 1 million for Lillie just means Sherman can now spend 5.3 million of his own cash instead of 4.3 million

They are trying to sign 2 NOW. VV and Mesa Jr OR VV and Gaston then try to talk the one who doesn't sign to wait till July 2 2019 but Baltimore has 6 million+ to offer that guy NOW so they are trying to get as much cash as possible to sign all 3 NOW instead of waiting

The theory is right,they are trying to get as much cash so they can do ALL 3 right now instead of having 1 out there(Mesa Jr or Gaston)

Heard they have talked to ML teams about Straily(LAD) and DD(Cubs) to get more cash but they can't do those deals till end of the season which could delay all 3 signings(NO CLUE IF TRUE or anything but both teams still have like 2 million each)

Its NOT hard to get IFA Pool $-most teams like something that other teams have(Majors or Minors). Its just a matter figuring something out with a team who has free space. Its like Baltimore-yes they have 6 million+ but if ALL 3 guys say they will ONLY sign with Miami we could trade Straily(who Baltimore liked LY) or Urena there for a prospect and IFA cash
