    Nothing announced yet but seen

Tyler Kolek back in GBoro(Was there in 2015). Eric Guiterrez is back even tho Jupiter has No 1B,Garvis Lara is still in the system and the OF is Knapp/Zach Sullivan/Isael Soto(All 3 been in Gboro before)

Very Disappointing to see ALL of them there but goes to show that we finally have some depth in the minors

If Kolek can become anything that would be a plus. I thought we'd see him in Jupiter but i understand sending him to Greensboro to make him show something before sending him to Jupiter. I think it would make sense to send him to a pitchers league in Jupiter though. Any word on what happened to him last year and if he's shown even the slightest bit of progress this year?

Gutierrez is a nothing prospect who didnt even play well in Greensboro last year so thats whatever.

Isael soto was an intriguing prospect at one point and is still only 21 so greensboro makes sense for him to regain some rhythm in a hitters league.

To start the @JaxShrimp season, @Marlins prospect Pablo Lopez will be on the DL. About two weeks ago, a comebacker got him on his throwing arm. He will be fine, but just building back up. Shouldn't miss much time. @MLBPipeline
Been waiting for that update cause there was no word on his injury. Good to hear. Expect big things from him this year.

Some mild ailments for a few @Marlins prospects. Let's start with Jorge Guzman, their No. 4 prospect, had a very mild oblique, that's why as of now, his first start with @GoHammerheads is TBA. He may be ready for the fifth start.
        some less positive news

Some progress but only for like 1 inning then looks like crap. Some thought he would be in Jupiter as a RP but looks like they are gonna give him 1 more shot as a SP.

Soto is still intriguing. He missed LY with a broken foot. All I am saying is the GBoro bats are disappointing. Guys who are repeating the level/moved down a level-rather see Laz Alonso or Sean Reynolds at 1B then Gutierrez OR Brayan Hernandez/Thomas Jones instead of Zach Sullivan

According to Frisaro-James Nelson is hurt which is why not on a roster yet

#Marlins No. 28 prospect Tyler Kolek, who missed much of 2016 and 2017 due to Tommy John surgery, was scheduled to be @GSOHoppers starter tomorrow night. Instead, he's just been placed on the seven-day disabled list.

#2 Pick and we passed on Rodon,Aaron Nola and Trea Turner

lol good old Kolek. I really dont like to blame teams in MLB draft because it is even more of a crapshoot than the crapshoot that is the draft in other sports, but man that pick is just so brutal. Especially when i remember the rumors of us also liking Trea Turner and Nola prior to the draft. So many things that this franchise has done in the past 5 years that could have been done to prevent the rebuild we now have to go through on top of jose dying just absolutely crippling the franchise.

just the list of names we've traded that we could have had cheap long term that we gave away for nothing or just threw in trades that were horrible is so brutal: Austin barnes, Kike Hernandez, Heaney, Desclafani, moran, francis martes, Luis castillo (underrated how lucky we got that the Padres were trying to be scumbags and that we got him back and were able to get straily), among many others. That's something that doesnt get talked about when people talk about the trades in the offseason.

We blundered with Naylor at #12 in the '15 draft as well. There were many actual baseball players available.

That was the year we decided instead of BPA to draft for "need". They picked Naylor because was best power left and he gave us a discount.

The way the draft is set up now is u take the BPA who will sign for the slot amount-u call 5 guys reps and say what will it take to sign. U get there number and then decide

The first rounds should be reserved for top athletes. Naylor is Bour Lite.

Dunand hit safely in every game thus far. Mahan also showing very well for Jupiter.

Austin Dean and Jeff Brigham stand as batting and pitching leaders of Southern League after the first week plus.

If you want JT Realmuto you’re giving up your top prospect. Marlins stuck to that all winter and you see why they wont and shouldn’t budge.
Didnt know where to put this, but glad to see us sticking to our guns. A top catcher that young and controllable is so valuable. Really want a long term deal though if hed be willing to sign it at all.

He still wants to be dealt. Washington,NYM,Houston still most likely but not rushing anything.

Glad you've come around on settling for that crappy package being discussed from Washington.
