Also, you would think with the game being on TV and against Stanton and the Yankees the Marlins would've put a little more effort with who they brought to this game. If I'm a casual Marlins fan and pass by this game, see their lineup and then see our lineup I probably never watch a Marlins game again, lol.

Dietrich with another HR today, this time off Scherzer who was having an unreal spring but got lit up today. I really think given his team control and positional versatility he could get a really good haul at the deadline from a team similar to the brewers last year who surprises but isnt willing to make an enormous acquisition for a playoff push. I think he can put up an .820 OPS or something like that.
Anderson and Cooper with HR's today too. Idk where the power came from for Anderson last year, but if this is who he is he is another really good building block that not enough people are talking about. Nice to see a long term 3b for the first time in god knows how long.
Aside from Bour's struggles we've gotten some really nice springs from most of our hitters. Castro has been really good, Dietrich and anderson are on fire, Brinson has been impressive, JT got off to a nice start before getting injured, and Van slyke impressed. Really interested to see how the lineup performs when the year gets going. One thing thats annoyed me each year in the past is that we have always had like 1-2 holes in the lineup that was just a black hole, but this year i think we have the potential of all 8 position players OPSing above .700 or so, with several guys possibly above or around .800 (JT, Bour, Anderson, Dietrich, Brinson, Castro).

Also, Trevor Richards continues to impress. Wasnt unbelievable today but performed really well against a nats team that played a lot of their starters (albeit they didnt play Turner or Harper).

Eric Jagielo with a home run in this game in his 1st and only ST AB, 1 of 5 in this game. Never heard that name before. Looked him up, his numbers were bad in AA & AAA last two years, but he is a former 1st round pick and only 25, and I'm guessing must have been a good prospect before then. Interesting.

We also signed Sean Burnett as a LOOGY option. If healthy a nice signing
