    Their job is the same; that doesn't mean they'll do it as well.

      I really don't see the point in using a sample size when a player is injured and therefore cannot play to their true ability level.

      I mean, let's look at it this way

      2007: Healthy, performed well
      2008: healthy, performed well
      late 2008: Healthy, was in closer roll, performed well
      Early 2009: Not healthy, was in closer roll, did not perform well
      late 2009: Health, not in closer roll, performing well

      The only variable that changes along with performance is his health

        How can we be so sure he was injured that whole time? There was no drop in his velocity at all to signal that there was something wrong with him.

              I don't know. I still remember him hitting 100 on the gun a few times and typically being in the 96-98 range.
