Long term deals for Carlos Correia and Corey Seager(shift to 2B).
Anthony Rizzo at 1B on 4 year deal with option.
Conforto on 3 year deal with option.

Lol. I'd consider us lucky to have one of those signings happen, let alone all 4.

garrett cooper with another hr. he needs to be playing every day. i understand he has more versatility and can play more positions than aguilar so it might make sense to have him as the swing guy but he is our best hitter at this point and there is 0 excuse not to be playing everyday.

Sixto also looked good again tonight, throwing over 100. he should join the team after a few turns through the rotation.

Brinson also having a very solid spring. he should be the 4th OF. the better not give it to sierra cause he's out of options. I don't think there is any chance he gets claimed if they DFA him.

Jazz appears to be the starting 2b frontrunner too according to mish. So we're gonna have a few of Brinson, Cooper, Aguilar, Diaz, Berti, Jazz with no playing time. I cant think of another NL team who is being so badly hurt by not having the DH this year. We would have benefitted immensely from that extra spot in the lineup to get 4 ab's each night.

If a team calls on anyone they will be listening. They tried to trade Cooper but the offers werent great

Sierra is weird cause out of options and Brian Miller who is same player is sitting AAA. U can DFA him and try to sneak him thru but issue is(like with ALL of our DFA) if ONLY 1 team claims him they get him. If 2 or more put in a claim u can work out a deal-Marlins might take a chance since Miller is sitting in AAA but who knows?

The RP situation is crazy too. They like both of the Rule 5 guys/already have to many RP and have Bender who probably should be up but not on 40 man. They got like 12 guys for 8 spots-smart play is to let Bender go to AAA,keep both Rule 5 guys and send Hoyt down for few weeks. Anyone struggles u put them on IL with an "injury" and call up Hoyt or Bender

Apparently Rizzo and the Cubs are looking into an extension, but obviously that may not happen.

im starting to agree that jazz should be the starter. if he didn't seem like he was ready to be an impact player immediately It would be different but i think he can be a legit middle of the order impact bat right now.

If I were the front office, id do what I can to pick off a really good C of the future using our surpluses at different positions including OF, SP, and MI (diaz or jazz). The only position lacking long term is C. we have the surplus to work with. get it done.

CF is still an issue. I could easily see us needing to re-sign and get another year out of Marte after this one. Big years for the likes of Misner and Scott, and of course Harrison, but I've almost given up on the guy.

I am still of the mindset they should try converting one of the outfield bats to a C. Burdick would probably be the go to(he has one of the best arms in the system IIRC).
