Two subpar starts in a row to start the campaign off. Velocity down. Everything flat.

"We're worried" is a good thread title because I don't think there's anyone out there who is not worried to some extent.

I'd put my worry level at 4.5 because he has been very unlucky in his 2 starts.

I think we should trade him now before his value crashes.

              Yeah.

If he comes out in his next outing and is lights out, then my concern will drop to a 0 and I'll just chalk it up to two unlucky/rusty (even though he did pitch in ST) starts. If he is shaky again, then my concern skyrockets.

How was JJ in ST? I didn't follow ST at all.

Do they keep velocity stats for ST?

                    Bucklin12?

                      didn't pay attention to ST

all I know is that his ball doesn't pop the catcher's glove right now, and that scares me

I would think they would so the coaching staff could get an idea of where their pitchers stand.

Count on the 'I'm scared' bandwagon. He can't seem to get ahead in counts, nor put people away when he does.
God would be expecting a first pitch breaking ball in the dirt because humans love to disappoint him.

Guys, he's only got like 8-10 starts left this year tops anyway, so lets not get too worked up about it.

Up until last week, he hadn't faced Major League hitters in 11 months

                              He will get it together
