Well, he put up -.6 WAR in his first 3 part-time seasons and was then 20.7 in his 7 full time years with the club, so they were basically even as full time players. And Luis had the longevity and all the records, so I get why he's the pick. But it's still closer than the vote would let on.

Luis was the epitome of small ball winning baseball to me. I loved that 03 lineup with Pierre and Castillo at the top. Them two in their primes at the top of our lineup right now would solve a lot of our problems.

Uggla was a monster, but Castillo played baseball the way it's supposed to be played (/cliche).
