                • Speaking of all names, they have had some interest in BJ Upton before and he's certainly on the trading block. Before you laugh at his .240 batting average, his WAR the last two seasons despite batting that has been 4.0+. Next year is his year 28 season, and he could certainly sign a 3-4 year contract for his prime years for average $8-10 annually (he will be due $6.5-7.5 in arbitration for 2012). If he's a 3 WAR player, that is a pretty solid contract and really locks down CF for years.

                  Just saying.

                  • I'm all for BJ Upton even if he's immensely frustrating to watch.

                            • would Arod with half his salary paid up be an interesting draw still down here in miami? After his playoffs wouldnt be surprised if the Yanks look to dump him.

                              • He's 36 already. I would mind getting him if they're throwing him at us for free (very cheap and paying a vast majority of his contract). A-Rod, Pujols, Hanley and Stanton in the same lineup? Sick.
