Lomo's OPS from June 1 on was .693, 2nd worst on the team. And the only player worse went to an all star game in the intervening months and isn't a total douchebag.
That's for the people who have been saying "He's our 3rd best player!"
He was our best play for a month and a half. He's been dogshit ever since, and unlike Gaby, he can't keep his mouth closed.poop

ummmm......the entire team has been dogshit since then. you could use the same argument for bout 90% of the roster
doesn't change the fact that he's still top 4 in almost every offensive category and in most cases top 3 and that "terrible" two months still makes him 2nd on team in ops

idk what ur definition of dogshit is but 25-43 since June 1 is certainly in the ballpark
and out of the 5 players u mentioned only Stanton has been better for the year.
the point is lomo was sent down for his mouth not his production. if the marlins weren't a bazillion games back lomo is still here regardless of who he's "offended"

Logan Morrison is expected to be in uniform today with the Class AAA New Orleans Zephyrs after arriving in The Big Easy late last night.
LoMo, optioned by the Marlins late Saturday, is allowed to report as late as Wednesday, under baseball rules. But his arrival last night was an encouraging sign for Zephyrs Manager Greg Norton.
Tarrik Brock, the Marlins’ minor league outfield coach, is in New Orleans ready to work with Logan on his defense. Remember: Logan is still a little more than a year removed from playing first base in the minors most of his career before debuting for the Marlins last season in left field.
Marlins manager Jack McKeon has talked with reporters about the dangers of judging a player on a fast start so early in the season. Pitchers are still getting up to speed in April and May.
That might play into Logan’s case.
As Marlins radio man Glenn Geffner pointed out recently on a broadcast, LoMo was hitting .330 with a .424 OBP on May 27 — 28 games into his season).
In 67 games since, he was hitting .215 with a .284 OBP, his walk rate way down and his strikeout rate way up. Geffner pointed out that those AVG and OBP figures are both lower than Chris Coghlan’s season totals at the time he was sent out (.230/.296 in 65 games, nearly the exact same number).
My guess is Logan will play all out with New Orleans — and not just to prove the Marlins wrong for demoting him.

Health has been the biggest factor, alone with getting terrible production from our 1B and LF. Lomo is one of those, and unlike the 1B, he can't shut the fuck up for 5 minutes.poop
