Man. It works. It works. God damnit, it works and it's not going to happen :'(
Man, Buck only makes 4.5 this year. There's room for Pavano instead of Vazquez at 8 mil and still have 3.5 left over to get to $55.

I hate myself for not giving up on this.

When is Buck's signing bonus payable? Now? Life of deal? Still think it's $6 and that money will count to payroll

                  • I think I heard something of Coghlan telling Beinfest that he wanted to play CF, I just don't know if he has enough speed or a good jump to get to those deep fly balls.

                    • I don't think Lo Mo and Nolasco are enough for a player like Upton.

                            Maybe the Stanton thing

but if they took the hermida/tucker deal that was originally agreed upon before dodgers came in.....

(too bad for p-rates laroche is hermida 2.0 )

I'm not worried about his pure speed as much as I am his ability to judge fly balls and how healthy that knee is.

That said, I still doubt Coghlan will ever even see playing time out there, so hopefully this is moot.

Reading the ball from CF is easiest of all OF positions. You get a clear view of the ball, LF and RF the ball is always obstructed by the lights, the only issue is that there is a lot of ground to cover at Sun Life.
