Doubt it. I'm pretty sure they would want ML ready talent. The only ML ready talent there is Gaby, and he doesn't really wow anyone. At the least they would have to give up one of LoMo or Nolasco.

We're talking about Justin Upton, who is currently signed to a friendly contract for the next 5 years. It's not a salary dump or trying to get something for someone who is going to be gone soon. They will have to give to get.

I dont see Arizona turning down Coghlan, Nolasco, and Nunez....it gives them a solid 2/3 in the rotation, a longterm 2nd baseman, and a good arm in the pen, which they have very few of.
Would Upton or Stanton play center if that deal happened?
