5/$71 is preposterous for someone like Uggla...and THE GENERAL PUBLIC is probably not Marlins fans...they only go to Super Saturday games anyways.
If we sign Buck, an average CF, and a starter..we will be better than last year.

I can't wait til Uggla signs with Atlanta for less than we offered him.

I know Uggla isn't the brightest bulb, but he should consider purchasing a calculator and dividing 71 into 5, adding 5 zeros and ask himself if he really is worth that much.

Those tight affliction T-shirts lower the circulation of blood to the brain.

                I just Googled it. lol

Georgia has a 6% income tax rate for anything over $7,001.

Uggz is going to lose 41% to income taxes.

If he makes $10M next year, he will be paying ~$60,000* in taxes he would not have paid in Florida. lol

                *I just did $10M * .41. I didn't take bracket adjustments into account.

Pavano would be for me, if for no other reason than because of this:

I'd be a bit worried about anything longer than a 2 year deal with Pavano. He turns 35 in January, and he's an okay middle of the rotation starter but he may not be worth he gets on the open market.

                  Twins want him back too.

Prince William is getting married. The general public approves of this.

                          • If the general public approves then it must be a good thing.

                            • Dominguez going to 3B would mean Cogz in CF, unless Gaby is traded for relief, Cogz goes to LF, Lomo to 1B.

Wonder what we can get in return for Gaby and Nunez.
