He's becoming our next legit pitcher to watch after this current crop of guys who started the year in Jupiter. And he's quickly passing Holloway and Stewart in the pecking order.

And he's still not hitting for any power whatsoever but at the very least VVM has started to hit. Every scouting report i've seen labels him as ML ready in CF already, so he will be a big leaguer as long as he develops some strength and starts hitting better. I wonder how he'd fare in Jax the rest of the year. He hasnt earned a promotion but Jupiter is just such an awful place for hitters.

And VVM's struggles and lack of strength are even more crazy when you realize his plate discipline is pretty great in terms of not striking out at all. guys only got 40 k's in over 300 ab's, it would appear that he just has no ability to hit the ball hard which is why his numbers stink. Lets see what he does the rest of the year.

Thing people dont realize(dont mean u-says fans in general) is Scott is only 19 and Thomas Jones would have been a Jr in Vandy OF this year. The guys have tons of talent but need AB's. Once they get them they will improve ALOT

Alonso got moved up so should be movement soon with guys. Bleday will be in Jupiter next week so OF should look like this

Pompey has started to show signs of life too. Will be interesting what they do with Misner AND VV/Jerar(maybe 1 gets moved to Jax?)

VVM has also started to heat up in Jupiter. Hasn't hit for any power yet, but he seems to be regaining his timing after almost 2 years out of baseball. He has had 4 consecutive multi-hit games. His average is almost back to .250 and is very close to getting his OBP back up to .300. Not that any of that is impressive, but he was struggling hard for a while there, so the progress is nice to see. If he keeps this up, maybe he gets a stint in Jacksonville before the year is out.

I think Pompey has been playing some 1st base or did I just imagine that? I wouldn't be shocked if Misner gets a run in Batavia, if not I don't think the marlins will lose sleep over Davis Bradshaw losing ABs. I've been preaching patience with Connor Scott and Banfield all year. Thomas Jones IMO needs to show something soon, and maybe he finally is.

I agree with you that VVM needs to start showing some power, but these are his first 300 ABs he's had in 2 years and they are in what is considered a good pitchers league. Not that I can say for sure he has a MLB future, but I do think more power will come as he keeps playing. I have never seen him play in person, so obviously I'm only going on what I see on the MiLB app, but I've seen a lot more of his hits lately being described as line drives than ground balls and the results over the last 2 weeks have been much better. He does have 3 doubles in July compared to just 2 combined for the 1st 3 months of the year, so hopefully that is a good sign and he is able to keep it going.

From what I've read a lot of people think Misner can stick in CF. Also Connor Scott is a CF. I would guess Brinson/Harrison get 2020/2021 to establish themselves and if they can't hack it, it'll be Scott/Misner's turn.

He's probably going to AFL so no clue what they do with him rest of this year. They like him in Jupiter because close to brother and all

He hasnt BUT was suppose to before he got hurt. Pompey or Misner can both play 1B(probably see Pompey play it in Jupiter once Bleday up)

Thing about Bradshaw is he missed 2 months so he is just getting in groove. Kid can hit

Misner is the interesting 1. He can play 1B,LF,CF,RF and is 6'5 210lbs. Question is does he hit enough? If so he could be in CF or 1B by 2021/22

When I say group I mean LHB with contact 4th OF type with great defense and speed. Marlins PROJECT them all to be ML players but as 4th/5th OF NOT starters. Don't forget starting in 2020 its 26 man rosters so u can carry a guy like this
