Gallen has been struggling pretty badly the last month or so. Give him the rest of the year in AAA and maybe the beginning of next year too.

Btw, Paddack just got promoted to AA. His numbers in the bet hitting league in the minors are...... scary good. Ive seen some scouts/insider tweets about people having him among the top 3 RHP's in the minors. At least we were able to get a clearly about to regress Fernando Rodney to add to a team that wasnt anywhere near being a playoff contender.

Too bad he was ranked in the Top 20 Marlins before Jeff got the call. Sad thing is Jeff thought he won the trade!!

Ugh. Getting Lopez for Phelps makes it sting slightly less...but still an awful trade.

Its only been half a season, but there is a ton to be excited about with our pitching prospects going forward. Neidert doesnt get enough attention in my opinion. He's been great at every level aside from a very small 6 game stretch after a promotion to AA initially.

I really gotta think that at least one of these guys (Alcantara, Lopez, Neidert, Guzman, Smith, Yamamoto, Rogers, Garrett, Cabrera, Puckett) develops into a little more than expected and we may not have a #1 ace in the system right now but I could definitely see us having a few guys who become solid #2s
