Brigham has a .35 ERA in Jacksonville. Just 6 starts, but he's already 26. By September there really isn't any point in not letting him pitch some relief in the major league level and see if he has Tom Koehler potential as a back end starter.

Brian Miller is just as good in Jax as he was in Jupiter. Most people will point to his great hit tool but his ability to maintain a .380+ OBP throughout is probably the biggest plus. More than a Juan Pierre type at the plate. Not to mention he can steal bases well. Definite most 'ready' hitting prospect we have in the system ala Brian Anderson before him and Christian Yelich before that.

Austin Dean should be in the majors soon. After a bunch of mediocre seasons since 2015 he finally broke out this year. .341 BA and .900 OPS between AA and AAA throughout the year. He should be the replacement for Cameron Maybin (people often forget he's just as bad as Brinson is this year without the potential upside).

Brigham is a RP in the majors and should get a look

Brian Miller has it all bat wise except power.

Ya wouldn't be surprised to see Dean up in LF by Aug 1 once DD and Maybin are gone

Don't forget some of these guys have to be added to 40 man anyways or be in Rule 5 draft

I feel bad for Tomas Telis. Dude has been a .300 hitter almost every step of the way of his minor league career but he's just in the wrong system. He won't be a star bc of lack of power but he's earned a real chance somewhere in the majors for about four years now (100 ABs isn't a true opportunity). He's now 27 years old and as a catcher he doesn't have much time left.

Igor Baez has 9 hits in 23 AB's with 5 walks so that's cool.

Ethan Clark has allowed 0 ER in 4 of his 6 starts. Needs to cut out the walks though.

Dustin Beggs in Jupiter never though I'd see the day they finally called him up to where he should be.

Tells is a truly awful major league player what are you talking about? Can’t hit to save his life at the major league level. He is the definition of a aaaa player

Disagree. Different players obviously but it reminds me when the Marlins screwed around with Derek Dietrich early in his career, not giving him regular ABs and bouncing him from MLB to AAA. That said Telis is older and less likely to succeed at this point.

Also J.T. Realmuto is the only starting catcher in baseball with a BA over .300. It's easy to forget how spoiled the Marlins are with Realmuto at the position. An OPS >.725 puts you in the top half of MLB catchers.

I think he's close to damaged goods at this point, but Telis could've been a starting catcher for a team a few years ago. Not that it matters much anymore.

Ethan Clark has allowed 0 ER in 4 of his 6 starts. Needs to cut out the walks though.

Dustin Beggs in Jupiter never though I'd see the day they finally called him up to where he should be.
Now they just need to figure out if Beggs is a SP or Power RP.

Yes, its almost as if im capable of being wrong on a player evaluation!!! He had talent relative to his position, he just doesnt have the power to hit well enough at the major league level and his fielding ability is non existent.

Yamamoto needs to be in AA already.

And neidert has earned a promotion to AAA or he is the next guy deserving of a trip to the majors should the opportunity arise.

And brian miller is just a pure hitter it seems. Perfect leadoff man of the future it seems.
