Depends on the organization.
I wonder if it's a pitch limit vs. innings. He averaged 5.2 innings per start in Jupiter, but he dominated more often so I'm sure he got deeper on less pitches there.
--------------------
I know the strict inning limits are much more common in the low minors. I'm trying to remember what org it is, but I know I've read one does, or did, 4ip limits and basically schedules 2 starts a game (1st inning and 5th inning). So one pitcher basically treated his entire routine like he was starting, but he came in in the 5th inning. If the starter got beat up, they used the pen to get to the 5th and his "start"

Skip's hitting .307/.410/.788 with 7 HR since he bottomed out at .196 at the end of play on July 11. Only 61 PA, so way too early to tell if he's figured something out or just hot.
15k for those wondering. 24.6% is good by his standards though.

Way too early to assume anything, but at least he's having a nice stretch. For once.Last edited by HUGG; 08-02-2012, 12:17 AM.
