According to BA,as of right now

6,33,43,73,80 are our Picks in The First 3 Rounds with a draft pool of 8,870,700 mil(that will increase to around 9 mil)

This will change tho once the FA Sign.

The draft pool this year we spent 4,860,700,so we will have an extra 4.25 million to spend in the 2013 draft compared to 2012. Lets just hope Loria spends it ALL!!

As for talent not really, pretty normal however it has stuff we need(3B who can move fast) and stuff we love(LHP and Catchers)

Names to watch at #6 are Kris Bryant,Colin Moran(Both 3B),Jonathan Crawford(SP who we drafted before)

            Miami #1
            Pitt Supp #1
            Miami #2

All will be before pick #50,our Supp #1 is Detroit's

We should have 5 picks in the Top 85,now we just gotta hope Loria is cool with spending all of the Draft Pool $ and not looking to sign guys cheap.

I don't like drafting for need, but I do like Moran. Seen him in person a few times.

Ya I agree with u but it is not like we will be reaching for him. The Top 3 College Bats are Austin Wilson OF,Kris Bryant 3B(1B),Colin Moran 3B

We will prolly draft one of them at #6,then start looking for our usual which has ALOT of depth this year-LHP and Catchers. Also MIF which our system can use will be getting some looks as well as a fast moving RP

Has anyone seen confirmation whether the competitive balance lottery is an annual thing or just a one-off? If so it is effectively 2 draft picks for being cheap/shite. We may get better quicker if so.

Supposedly every year just with different teams(Marlins always tho). Cheap gets u a chance at 1 and crappy gets u a chance at 1. Only issue with it is that u can be both cheap/shit and no promise that u get 2
