I think if you don't have a lot of talent you need to get someone to the majors ASAP. Whatever, we argue about this every year. Honestly, I do like Meadows, but I think there's enough college talent here in this draft before 6 that have a high ceiling AND are more polished.

What about a team like the Pirates? They have pick number 9 and one of the best records in the NL. Plus they have two impact pitchers in the upper levels. Would you still say they shouldn't take a high schooler?
