He lowered his shoulder into the guy and then took a step or two into him. If you were not welcoming a confrontation, I think those are things you wouldn't do.
I get that it was a quick reaction, and people react differently to different circumstances. But when I watch that video, I see someone who is making a point to embrace a confrontation. And it is obvious to me.
Maybe that is unfair? I don't know. I'm curious as to why it seems to be a sticking point to you and Namaste.poopComment

I think it's unfair to call that welcoming it. It was coming. He probably didn't want it to be coming. But once it was right there, he had to do something. He could have tried to avoid it, but I don't think trying to protect himself means he welcomed it.
If he doesn't step into it as it's coming, he would go flying backwards. That's what you've gotta do to get enough leverage against a guy (a heavier one) with a running start coming at you.Comment

Beef, in the one second he had to decide what to do, I think it should have been obvious to him that bracing himself (often confused with welcoming) was not the appropriate action to take.
