I'm ok with you saying you might have a natural reaction to screech and run, but it'd be natural - you wouldn't first think, hmmm, if I run, he will trip over this mound and eat dirt where my gross spikes have been, so I'm gonna run because it's gonna be funny when he eats the dirt... ya know?
I suppose different strokes for different folks. Fight or flight, or something in between.
