I don't mean to sound like an ass but he played 5 years with the Mets which resulted in a .249/.319/.412 line. His 5 OPSes declined drastically: .853, .776, .682, .659, and .515 (!). His "greatness" was with the Expos and not the Mets despite the World Series extra innings heroics. He hit under .200 in the 86 NLCS and the Mets released him after he shit the bed in 89.
