  • Yeah I just saw that, freaking crazy. With that much money, is CJ off the table? I know they want both, but that's a lot of $$$.

No. Rosenthal and Olney both wrote columns today about the Angels wanting both.

                • Yeah, they can have him for $260 mil

I'm just happy, through all of this, nobody should like Pujols anymore. Those hometown ties sure were strong.

(And I hope it means we get CJ).

                    • How much is that worth with the State Tax in Cali, which I'm sure is higher than St.Louis..

I don't see the Angels affording CJ, no matter what reporters are saying. I'm happy Pujols is out of the NL.

Supposedly, the DH may be in both leagues after the Astros realignment.

Regardless of the dollar difference and cost of living difference, I'll pick living in SoCal over St. Louis 1000000000000 times out of 1000000000000.

                            • Excerpt from Olney's article.

So Moreno made changes in his front office, hiring Jerry Dipoto as general manager and charging him with making the team better. Backed by the strength of a massive TV contract, the Angels are in pursuit of C.J. Wilson and Albert Pujols, and they appear to be the frontrunner for Wilson.
