Red Sox nation hates Lackey too.. He does suck but they were all excited when they got him.. He is good for 4 innings then he implodes.

That's weird, you typo'd Beckett into Lackey.. not the easiest mistake to make, but I've seen it done before.

Also, I doubt they will trade either, but if they were to trade one I'd give my left nut for it to be Beckett. I'm so sick of him, after two years of injury and shittiness, while I'm still willing to give Lackey another chance at the very least.

I like this signing alone a lot more than the Red Sox' entire 2009 offseason.
