More importantly, J.P. Howell has been non-tendered. He'd be the perfect, missing piece to our bullpen, if he's healthy. He's one of those rare "lefty relievers" who can get both lefties/righties out.

ESPN went with Dan Shulman, Orel Hershiser and Bobby Valentine to be the new Sunday Night Baseball broadcasting team.

I actually don't hate this. Hershiser does a great job and Shulman is light years better than Joe Morgan.

I wouldn't mind seeing if we could get Edwin Encarnacion for cheap as he was non-tendered. I want everyone I think lol.

I also like Milledge idea. And don't you think Tampa will re-sign Howell? He was too nasty for them just to let go. Though, I read that there is still no timetable for his return so maybe they just thought there was no point in keeping him.

Oh, and I'd love to sign Buchholz to a minor league deal or for the minimum. Travis Buck was non-tendered as well. He could be our fourth outfielder. He's a lefty so he'd fill the lefty bench void as well.

Why did the Red Sox even make the trade with us then if they were going to non-tender Miller before he even put on a jersey? Seems kind of pointless to make a trade with us at all.

They will probably re-sign him to a minor league deal. Getting him off the 40 without exposing him to waivers.

That's just my guess.
