CANADA!!
Yunel is like Hanley with not as much talent so Atlanta wanted to get rid of him before Fredi arrived.

I've always been fascinated by little Tim Collins though."You owe it to yourself to find your own unorthodox way of succeeding, or sometimes, just surviving."

10:44pm: Olney and Stark hear that the Rays are discussing possible trades for Werth (Twitter link). The Phils are working "very, very aggressively" to move Werth, who has $2.85MM remaining on his 2010 salary (Twitter link).
Meanwhile, Price reports (via Twitter) that talks regarding Oswalt are ongoing between the Phillies and Astros.
10:17pm: Amaro tells Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports that the Phils are "not close" to making a deal, though the team is talking to many other clubs on many fronts (Twitter link). The D'Backs, A's and Astros all tell Rosenthal that they aren't close to a deal.
10:06pm: Ed Price of AOL FanHouse hears that the Astros may be close to presenting Oswalt with a trade scenario for him to consider (Twitter link). There's no guarantee that Oswalt would accept a deal to Philly.
9:59pm: ESPN reports that the Phillies have shopped J.A. Happ. The club's front office has explored trades for Jayson Werth more aggressively in recent days.
9:52pm: The Phillies were not talking about Ben Sheets, Dan Haren or any of the Rays pitchers as of early tonight, according to Olney (via Twitter).
9:38pm: There are indications that the Phillies are working on a major trade for a starting pitcher, according to ESPN.com's Jayson Stark. The team would move Jayson Werth in a related trade if they acquire a pitcher, according to Stark, who notes that the Phils have spent lots of time exploring a Roy Oswalt deal (Twitter link).
The Phillies recently optioned Kyle Kendrick to the minors and lost Jamie Moyer to an elbow strain, so they could use starting pitching depth. GM Ruben Amaro Jr. hinted today that the club could acquire a starter by Saturday. The Phils have already committed $135MM to next year's payroll, so adding an expensive arm like Haren or Oswalt would take some maneuvering.
