Watching the Marlins lose a game because of old man Prado at this point is unacceptable.

Jarlin totally ineffective tonight. He was way over due.

      CHEN time!

Anderson amazing throw to end the inning. He is an amazing RF’r. He’s average at 3B

Anderson’s throw home was 97 MPH

Berti is fun to watch. Change my mind.

I feel like if Mike Mordecai can be a bench piece on a World Championship team, so can Berti.

Berti pretty much has no one stopping him from making the roster next year. I'd like to see them play him at SS a few times a week and see how he looks.

Marlins will need to add a starter for the DH at New York tomorrow. It's Edward Cabrera's scheduled day. Why not give him a sniff? Also, if the team is actually trying to win, he'd be the best bet.

              1. We're not really trying to win. 2. We'd be doing him a disservice by rushing him. 34 innings above A-Ball, that'd be some Jeff Loria shit calling him up. 3. Doesn't make sense from a monetary standpoint, why start his clock and potentially lose him a year earlier just so he can pitch in a lost season?

Hector Noesi is suppose to go tonight. He likely gets added tommorrow morning

                Actually trying to win? HAHHA

                  4. It means you have to protect him on the 40 man roster this offseason when you don't have to this year, which means you won't be able to protect one less of those potential RP (Castano, Milbrath, etc.) in Rule V draft.

                    Good info on it here

Happened with Verlander years ago. Houston got 3/4 good prospects because NONE of them were on 40 man so they could be traded

Brandon Barnes already got traded to Minnesota for cash. DFA can NOT be traded but vets not on 40 man can be

Weird choice with Noesi and Poteet(he lines up however) but he had to be added next year anyways so might as well get a look now

My guess is they are gonna try to trade Noesi eventually?

Dugger is LR/6th SP type-Elieser type but FB gets to 95+

                        - - - - - - - - - -

Stanek should come off IL this week and Steck and Brice by next weekend

3 new RP this week so he will likely be sent down after start

                        Still have 1 spot open

i've got zero clue who is on the roster after the injuries and trades this week Dugger coming up seems kind of stupid because judging by his AAA results he is gonna get crushed but i guess it gives us a chance to at least look at his stuff against major league hitting to see if he has any kind of major league future.

i understand the service time implications of keeping Diaz down but they need to just bring him up already. Would be an absolutely horrible look and send a horrendous message to the young guys in the system by not bringing him up this year. Him and brinson need to be up and playing every day.

Feel bad for Caleb Smith. An incredibly laughable defensive display in the 1st inning

                                Diaz being called up finally.

Sources indicate the Miami Marlins are calling up Lewis Brinson from New Orleans.

Is it Brinson and Diaz or just Brinson?
