i know we have the depth to get away with not signing cole, but i hope they say fuck it, we have money, and just go all in on him this offseason and figure out the rest of the rotation later on. Cole, Smith, Sixto and then any combo of Lopez, Alcantara, Yamamoto, Rogers, Garrett, Cabrera, Neidert, and im sure im forgetting some others. That would be a crazy great rotation and unless we can get rendon i think that's going to be the most effective way we can spend money this offseason.

If they're going to spend, I say Rendon over Cole (hitters are safer), and then trade Cooper for another pitcher. Use the same pitching depth chart I have above and then sign FA SP on an as-needed basis if actually needed.

I agree hitters are safer, but I do think, and I think we've seen just in the last couple of days. It's easier to deal pitching from a position of strength. Everybody needs pitching, always. Dealing an Alcantara/Lopez/Garrett/Rogers could provide those last couple of needed pieces in the 20-21 offseason.

My thing with Cole/Rendon is, will our overpay beat anyone else's overpay? There will be plenty of suitors.

Yes. And Soriano and Mejia.

I think that Garret/Rogers analysis is correct. Garret is going to be a starter, and Rogers a real multi-inning bullpen weapon over 90+ innings.

Sixto, Caleb, Pablo, Cabrera, and Garret has to be the ideal internal rotation, and Neidert has 3 options to be the 6th SP in AAA 20-22, Yamamoto 2 options for 20-21, and take an ace #3-4 overall in 2020 draft. Some emerging depth with Fitterar, Soriano, Mejia, maybe Palacios.

Mejia and Stewart to be added to 40 Man in offseason. If u wanna know about Mejia wait another few days(I think he is #31 on MLB.com). 1 issue with Soriano and Mejia are both have had arm issues

RP to watch for ML in 2020 are Dylan Lee,Vesia,CJ Carter,Aiello,Chad Smith

TONS of SP depth-Fitterer,Mokma,Givin,Soriano,Guerrero,Palacios,Leu dy Martinez and these are just the younger guys. We have a few older guys who have injury issues-Remey Reed,Roberson,Culbertson

U guys need to pay attention to DSL arms-we have about 10 guys who should be moving up to GCL/Batavia next year
