Mlb.com updated their list with the recent draftees. Bleday is our 2nd best prospect behind sixto and already #32 in all of baseball. Theyve got misner 9th, Nunez 15th, Jose salas 20th, fitterer 21, and vallimont makes an appearance for the first time at 24.

they also pushed Connor scott all the way down to 15th despite his recent hot streak due to his struggles to start the year and moved rogers from the mid teens to number 8. Monte cracks their top 100 at 88, diaz at 82, sixto at 26.

Also, just looking at misner's stats, he's gonna be moved up soon to either clinton or jupiter id imagine. Hasnt gotten a ton of hits yet but his plate discipline shows he's too advanced to be in GCL given his 8/5 BB/K ratio in 6 games. Im assumng the marlins just put him there cause he hasnt played since his season ended.

Also, just realizing this but for Diaz they used to have him as 50 grades at every single aspect but they bumped him up to 55 power grade and 55 overall.

I'm encouraged by Nunez stats at the GCL, again this is kinda the J.D. Orr conversation we had. A lot of walks and 16/17 in stolen bases. No power, but at 18 a lot more likely to add some power than Orr, not that he'll ever be a power hitter. Again, I want Luis Castillo back, a Luis Castillo with elite defense at SS, would be a monster.

ya im starting to come around on nunez so long as he develops just a little power, which he should as he grows into his body. If he is that effective stealing bases and is as good defensively as they say, and his hit tool is solid, im cool with the pick. I just dont generally like drafting guys who are already resigned to being completely limited in one facet of the game but id love to be wrong and see him develop into a big time prospect. Im super impressed by the plate discipline of him and victor jr in GCL. they are clearly super young and not strong enough yet, but im confident they will develop that as they get older and more developed.

holy hell enough of this chen bullshit already for the love of god. What is the purpose of keeping him around other than not wanting to spend money on a guy who wont be on the roster? he's literally a more valuable player not pitching at all then he is if they continue to pitch him like this.

Oakland is hot after Austin Brice and very very possible they do another Romo/SP type deal with Walker/Castro. They are looking for an MIF who can hit

Rojas,Nick Anderson and Richards are getting lots of calls but price is high on all 3. Would be surprised if dealt but its possible. Watch what NYY/Cubs/Houston do next few days

Pompey and Tony Kemp are in DFA limbo and Miami now has an open 40 man spot

Lewin Diaz is NOT on the 40 man and won't be put on this year. He WILL be next year however

Mateo was in the Yankees farm also. He was moved for Gray. This makes a lot of sense to me, and then sign Didi.

Mateo makes a ton of sense. Former top 100 guy who had a down year last year who last I checked was having a great year this year and the as have guys at the ss position ahead of him

They added Burdick and Mejia 29 and 30.
