I don't think those teams are fits at all for Castro.

Minnesota is insane, and they don't even have room for Astudillo right now who is obliterating AAA since being sent down.

Rays internal options are all better.

I do think some team will give the Marlins a nominal player and IFA cash (especially if the Marlins cover a little payroll), but not sure those are the ones

Really good. Mixing his stuff and getting weak contact. It's like he's playing with the other team.

This last K to Ozuna was just like that. He had a "WTF is going on" face all the whole at bat. Strikes out looking on a 79 curve.

None of his pitches look super impressive just by themself, reason he's been successful is he's been able to throw any pitch anywhere at any time. Really kept them off balance.

I mean his curve is kinda wicked. I love to see him pitch.

I haven't been watching, but the box score looks incredible.

                    • Some history for the Marlins’ Jordan Yamamoto:

He’s the first pitcher (at least since 1908) to begin his career with back-to-back outings of 7+ scoreless innings and three or fewer hits allowed.

                      • I feel like there's an echo.

Zac Gallen might be waiting for a little bit.

Crazy thing is he's done it against the same team for 14 innings. These cardinals bats have seen him 6-7 times and they still can't do anything with him.

I have no ideia why my posts come out duplicated. Anyways, I feel bad for Gallen but Yamamoto has definitely earned a 3rd start

                          • Isn't Smith supposed to be back for his next start? Be interesting to see what they do.

I was thinking that too. His profile suggests "3rd time through the league he gets shelled," but he wiped these guys out the first two of them. And the Cards are pretty solid as a team with some really good hitters.

Maybe the deception and spin rate is going to play up

Ya he's coming back this weekend. What they will do is send Elieser down or to the bullpen, and then bring gallen up soon and go with a 6 man rotation with either Elieser or Yamamoto as the odd man out. If eliser is the odd man he will likely go to the bullpen and I would think Yamamoto to AAA if he is the odd man out.
